Neater Drinkers
The Neater Drinkers are drinking aids, thoughtfully designed to enable users who lack the ability to drink from a cup or glass due to tremors, weakness or limited head mobility. Each Drinker has been designed with the user in mind, to make their lives that much easier and allow for a simple but effective solution for hydration and nutrition.
The Neater Drinker has a long straw available with a ceramic or thermally insulated metallic cup. This straw has a valve at its end which captures the fluid once reaching the mouth. The user then only has to sip away until empty. The straws position means the user need not bend down, so posture and a better swallowing action is achieved. Also available are the Neater Steady Straws for flexibility and & the Sturdy Straw Holder for more rigid/accurate positioning.
If you have weak sucking ability or poor lip closure, please take a look at the Neater Powered Drinker. This can be used in conjunction with the Straw Mover or the Neater Holder. If the client is unable to suck or position their mouth around a straw then the Powered Neater Drinker, at the press of a switch introduces a measured bolus of fluid in a controlled manner.
