Body Supports

The Vacuum Support System consists of a sealed casing appliance of flexible Polyurethane material which is high frequency welded and filled with thousands of flame retardant polystyrene micro beads.

The system is designed to provide comfortable support by moulding the beads (with air present) to the profile of the user, which creates a custom intimate mould.

Extracting the air from the system causes the casing to contract and the beads static nature brings them together to form a mould.

By introducing air back into the system the support is able to adapt over time to any changes in profile.

Bath Seat with Full Body Support

  • Adult and Junior sizes.
  • It has a mid-hinging point that allows the back to compress and expand for user growth. This hinging point also allows the supports back to move to either side of the bath side panels to accommodate users with severe Scoliosis.
  • The seat can be ramped to stop the user from slipping down.  A Pommel can also be created to prevent Adduction. The backrest moulds to the back, head and shoulders.
  • Individual needs or odd shaped baths can be catered for with design adaptions.
  • A padded lap strap and buckle is also available if needed.
  • A pair of bath pads with suckers can be positioned at any point in the bath surface to prevent the user causing injury where there is the possibility of involuntary movements or where limbs are causing pressure.
  • Shower Seat Supports are also available.

Full chair support range

  • Provides full body support including head, neck and shoulders, laterals and seat for users who require their whole body supported.
  • The flared seat can be ramped and pommels created.
  • A waist strap is also available to hold the side wings together and maintain contact with the product to the seat base.
  • Fabric covers in Black Cotton Quilt or Lambswool.

Car Seat Support Range

  • Adapted from the existing chair supports. The Car Seat Supports feature special head restraint hoods.
  • Designed to allow users with special needs the ability to travel with their family without the need for special vehicle adaptations.
  • The Car Seat Support must always be used in conjunction with a vehicle seat belt.
  • A lap strap is available to hold the side wings together around the user when in motion. It combines with a rear strap to maintain contact with the product to the seat base.

Wedge Therapy Supports

  • Available in three sizes and are suitable for therapy, prone play, postural drainage and relaxation. Wedges can also be used as floor sitting aids for positioning etc.
  • Fabric covers in Black Cotton Quilt or Lambswool.
  • Individual replacement components are also available: Covers, Foot Pumps, Hand Pumps, Valves etc
